Colehay sell Equine Bedding , Canadian Hay, Straw, Haylage, Equisorb, Miscanthus, Quashi, Small Bale Haylage, Shavings, Hay and NOW Rabbit Bedding.

We make and supply all grades of hay from soft sweet meadow hay, ley mixtures and seeds through to Italian Rye – in conventional (pick-up) bales and in big bales (3-4 to the tonne).

Most of our products will be barn stored but in a normal year we would reckon to sell about 1/3 of our hay and haylage directly from the field at extremely competitive prices.

Our smallest load ex field is 350 bales, our next optimum load size is 380 bales. Our lorry and trailer carries 750 bales.

It is normal practice to sell by weight, but if your prefer to buy by the bale we can always quote you a price per bale and advise you the average number of bales per tonne.

Obviously the less distance we have to travel, the cheaper the price. I will always be able to bring or to post to you various samples to look at before we deliver so you can decide which hay is most suitable for your requirements.

Part of the “package” with our products is that we send enough men to stack the hay properly for you and to prepare the base before we stack, we also replace free of charge any hay that does not make up.
