Quashi consists of 100% recycled materials 60% egg boxes and 40% diced fibreboard. Dust extracted and free from all contaminates, which gives a clean and healthy environment for the horse and the owner. The bed is dry (with only a 5% - 7% moisture in the bale) making it warm and comfortable in the winter and cool and springy in the summer. Totally biodegradable making it very environmentally friendly. 
Quashi AbsorbencyIn trials this bedding was demonstrated to be much more absorbent than other premium beddings. Absorbing 3.8 times it's own weight of water. The bed therefore stays dry on top, as any wet becomes absorbed beneath the surface, providing the horse with an extremely comfortable bed.

Laying Quashi
- First lay out of 5 - 6 bags.
- Remove dungs and urine plates twice a day and shake the bedding entirely to air it.
- Add an average of 1 bag per week to maintain the initial volume.
- It is not necessary to renew the bedding entirely.
- Straw bed - take out whole bed
- Shavings or hemp - if clean, top up with Quashi and gradually, as the wet requires disposal, replace old bed with the new.
